W5CPL repeater information

We’re excited to have a repeater up and running for amateur radio operators in Coppell and surrounding areas to use! If you haven’t tried already, here’s what you need to know to use the repeater:

Frequency: 441.375 MHz

Offset: Positive offset (input is 446.375 MHz)

Tone: PL tone of 103.5

This frequency pair is part of the “backyard repeater” portion of the band plan (you can see the band plan here). We are using this as an interim while working on securing a coordinated pair.

Listen online!

We have set up an online audio feed for our repeater.

Need help programming your radio?

We have started a wiki entry, and appreciate any additions on other radio models to help folks get on the air on our and other area repeaters!

Help us keep the momentum going!

While we now have the repeater, duplexer, and antenna set up and operating, we have upcoming and ongoing repeater expenses, including backup battery so the repeater continues to work during power failures,  and possibly setting up a voting system to improve reception.

Will you help continue the momentum of making our repeater an excellent resource in Coppell? Please use the donation link below. All funds marked for the repeater will remain dedicated towards the setup and maintenance of CARE repeaters and will not be used for any other purpose.
